THE STORY

I’ve always been a adventurer and a creative with an entrepreneurial spirit— it’s what drew me to the Pacific Northwest. Over the last ten years, I've practiced architecture in both Washington D.C. and Seattle, Washington at two of the country’s top architecture firms. Through design, I grew to understand the importance of people’s experience of a place, whether it be their local coffee shop or their home. Over the years, my passion for design has remained steady, however, the underlying itch to start my own business and gain back time and freedom began to surface. I sought ways ways to expand my portfolio through real estate and to bring more value to neighborhoods and homes, all while creating a life of freedom and adventure.

My heart lies in hospitality. It’s always been my dream to greet a guest in a hotel that I could call my own and curate the experience of. My eventual goals in real estate investing involve acquiring, designing and operating a boutique hotel.

re:fern is a product of my passions for design, a knack for numbers, and curating experiences through the spaces we occupy most. It's become an avenue to engage with like-minded individuals and support other female entrepreneurs.
